I'm sure we've all said it at some point in our lives, "If I only knew then what I know now". Exactly. That goes right along side "Youth is wasted on the young". How did we as a society get to where we are now? Without God and His code of ethics, determining right from wrong ends up being nothing more than your opinion vs. the next person and what they think. We have no idea how incapable we are and how lost we are. We have no ability to be good on our own and no possible way to reach God. There are two kinds of people in the world: Those who are sinners and know it, and those who think "I'm fine, thank you very much".
Debts. These days, if you're too far over your head you simply declare bankruptcy; no problem except for the 10 year inconvenience. No debtor's prison. No chance of your children getting parceled out to other people who now consider them a burden, or worse yet put in run down orphanages. Let's consider the value of the gift of forgiveness.
