There has been an expression "God writes straight with crooked pencils". Very clever, but the underlying truth is that those very same crooked pencils are on their journey to becoming very straight. And that can only occur when our Loving Savior works on us through the power of the Holy Spirit by injecting truth, His Truth, into our lives.

Today we explore the incredible generosity of Our Living Savior.
Wildly unpredictable, controversial, not to be managed or controlled; that's the Jesus we want you to know.
I think because it's been 2000 years since Jesus' resurrection that many people do not believe it to be true, and therefore they don't really considering that He is God and that what He has told us is the absolute truth. There's much to say about that: Why 2000 years? Is He coming back, and if so, when? We'll get into that some day soon, but what about right now? Today, with all the fear and insanity, particularly with a worldwide pandemic? Take a moment, a breath, and listen. God bless, and happy Easter and Passover Week.
Our guest speaker today brings an interesting perspective. If they say you're a door, or you're a signpost, as will be discussed this session, I think everyone understands that you're not, really. These are just examples, metaphors. But what about a temple? That's real, and that has power. Power to change you. Power to change others. Your life is completely and irrevocably changed when the power of the Living God, the person of the Holy Spirit, because of Jesus Himself, has taken control of you.
Yes, you're going to have to listen to the entire sermon for that one. But it relates. Words have power, and they should be directed toward the things that count, the things that make the difference in life. We're still in the life of Peter.
If ever there was a time in all of human history that availability of information was at its pinnacle, we're living in it. You name it: quantity, quality, ease of access. In fact, a new data storage system uses single atoms as computer bits and could hold the contents of the US Library of Congress in a cube just 100 micrometers across... that's a little more than a speck of dust. Understanding God, His reality and how to know Him personally is no longer a matter of lack of info. It's a matter of the heart. Once again, as we've discussed before, it's definitely time to get serious. One thing for sure: He Is.
For almost everyone, when life's circumstances seem overwhelming the question usually arises, 'Why is God allowing this to happen?' Hopefully this series might help in getting some perspective.
We're looking at Isaiah 53 today. There are way too many zero's you have to add to the probability that Isaiah's prophecy could ever be fulfilled. But it did. And there's so much to learn.
We are continuing our discussion from last week in Isaiah in our effort to understand the full impact of what Jesus has done for us on the cross.
