Change. It's always somewhat, well maybe sometimes a bit difficult, to make changes in our lives, even when it's for the betterment of those around us. We simply want those things to remain the same simply because we're comfortable with the way they have always been, or we just simply like it that way.

It's the Christmas season and this chapter of Isaiah concerns the unfortunate choices of King Ahaz of Judah. But, as is the case in much of Isaiah and the prophets, it is woven with an abundance of verses regarding the coming of the Messiah. This chapter is no exception.
