The more we learn about who we are should invoke more of a response in us as to how we behave and how we affect or can affect others. Isn't that a major part, or possibly even the most important part of life... being this incredible source of outpouring to others. We want to be of value, both to God and to those people whom He brings across our daily paths.

We've all had the experience. You know the person...hasn't got a clue about the huge blind spot they've got and your first instinct is to find the nearest exit. On top of that, their arrogance trumps everyone's opinion in the room. Nancy addresses that potential tendency in all of us and delves into what Peter has to say on the matter.
Sometimes it's a little tough finding the right title when these sermons are uploaded. This week's title was captured from Nancy's opening remarks, referring to the most recent events of terrorism, France and now California. As a nation, we're coming very close to completely dissing God. The world is continuing to go in the wrong direction, but God's involvement in our lives and the peace we experience is so intertwined with our willingness to submit. Submission is today's focus.

Have you ever worked all day on a really filthy job and when you got home you couldn't wait to get those clothes off and just pitch them. Rather filthy and disgusting. Keep that image in mind as we take a look at "the filthy five" characteristics we definitely need to discard if we are truly going to call ourselves "Christian".
Our love for one another must be sincere. No putting on masks. No pretending. Authentic.
